  • Marketing

We don't really have a show if no one knows about it!  As part of our marketing volunteer team you can support a number of ways based on your experience.

Community Marketing: Help boost the presence of the theatre and it’s events by helping to distribute leaflets, attend events and creating marketing relationships within the community

Campaign and Digital Marketing: Keep our audiences engaged and advertise/promote the theatre shows and events through online marketing channels (social media, website etc) to offline marketing channels (PR, advertising etc).  Involves the creation of design assets to use across campaigns.

  • Wardrobe/Costume

You do not have to be a sewing wizard (although we welcome those that are!) to assist in managing our wardrobe to transform everyone into character.

Wardrobe Management: Organise and maintain our wardrobe, ensuring the costumes are kept tidy and are cleaned and returned to the correct places after a show or hire has ended.   Sourcing and styling outfits for actors in the run up to a show with guidance of the director, or for a costume hire.  You may also attend show nights to help dress the actors and to repair costumes if needed.

Costume Creation: Share or develop your skills in repairing, customising or creating costumes, accessories and props. You may have the skill to make items from scratch, repurposing pre-loved materials or garments into new costumes or even create props and accessories.

From helping set up for performances through to supporting throughout to create the magic!

Every show needs lights and sound, both rigging and operating. You will ensure our audiences aren't sitting in the dark listening to the actors breathing ;)
