Front of house
Our Front of House volunteers help our audience feel welcome and ensure they leave with a smile on their face!
Ushers: Ticket checking/scanning, monitoring performances and most importantly, ensuring each of our visitors has a good night out. The role also includes health and safety duties such as aiding evacuation of our audience during an emergency.
Bar: Stocking the bar, taking bar orders, using the till and associated card tap and pay facilities, adhering to all licensing laws in the service of alcohol, keeping the bar area clean and ensure a high standard is maintained

Wardrobe/Costume
Wardrobe Management: Organise and maintain our wardrobe, ensuring the costumes are kept tidy and are cleaned and returned to the correct places after a show or hire has ended. sSurcing and styling outfits for actors in the run up to a show with guidance of the director, or for a costume hire. You may also attend show nights to help dress the actors and to repair costumes if needed.
Costume Creation: Share or develop your skills in repairing, customising or creating costumes, accessories and props. You may have the skill to make items from scratch, repurposing pre-loved materials or garments into new costumes or even create props and accessories.

Marketing
Community Marketing: Help boost the presence of the theatre and it’s events by helping to distribute leaflets, attend events and creating marketing relationships within the community
Campaign and Digital Marketing: Keep our audiences engaged and advertise/promote the theatre shows and events through online marketing channels (social media, website etc) to offline marketing channels (PR, advertising etc). Involves the creation of design assets to use across campaigns.

Sets & Props
Prop managment: Assist in the sourcing or creation (and any repair) of all props for a production, taking guidance from the Director to interpret concepts and build or acquire props that meet the specific needs of the show.
Set creation: Assist in the sourcing or building and painting of sets following the agreed Set Design – from back drops to staging - ensuring they reflect the creative direction and are safe sturdy.

Administration
The gold dust of any theatre and drama school! You will work closely with operational team to support in all areas from scheduling volunteers, updating databases and helping manage events

Tech, Lighting and Stage
From helping set up for performances through to supporting throughout to create the magic!
