Trustee - Various

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about community and the arts to join our Board of Trustees. Our Board consists of six individuals and we're looking to grow this to nine.

This a voluntary position with the Board currently meeting monthly with a commit to a few hours between meetings to take on governance-related tasks as required.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking to appoint new Trustees ideally with professional backgrounds in one of the following areas:

  • Theatre Management and Operations

  • Human resources

  • Fundraising

  • Governance and administration

  • Commercial/Business Development

We are always interested in increasing the diversity of our Board, so we are particularly keen to recruit individuals from all areas of the community. We are open to applications from people who are new to trusteeship as well as those who are experienced trustees.

Drama School & Theatre Co-oridinator

Due to an internal move in our team we are looking for a new Drama School and Theatre Co-oridnator to join us on a part time basis (16 hours a week).

Who we are looking for?

Do you love working with children and have a passion for the theatre and dramatic arts? Please read on! You will be the face of our Drama school liaising and communicating with the students, freelance teachers and parents to ensure the smooth running of the school, identifying ways to enhance and grow the school experience and overseeing all safeguarding and all relevant paperwork for participation and invoice payments are up to date.

Alongside this you will support in house creative production working with a diverse range of people and tasks– from our volunteers through to freelance creatives - to support our shows, workshops and events within the theatre.

The most essential thing you can bring to this role is your energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. We’re a small team and we’re passionate about what we do. We want people with the desire and motivation to effectively support and be flexible in working across all aspects of the Theatre and Drama School.

This role is part time, contracted 16 hours week with overtime for busier performance periods and requires working on Saturdays 9:30am – 1:30pm during term time of the Drama School. Other hours being flexible to the needs to the Theatre and Drama School. An enhanced DBS check will be required.
