Cowboy boots and stetsons have made their way into Groundlings Theatre, with a live band and line dancing instructor we'll cut footloose and dance the whole night long. Featuring the soulful tones of Dolly Parton impersonator Sarah Jayne. Sarah's reputation and performances are at the top of the industry as a Tribute to Dolly Parton. In 2011 Sarah performed meet and greets for Dolly's guests at the 02 in London for Dolly Partons 'The Better Day' tour.

Jo’s War

Steve has gone to Afghanistan to fight for Queen and Country leaving his girlfriend, Jo, counting the days till his return. But while Steve dodges rockets in Sanguin Province, Jo is dealing with her own unexploded device: her future mother in law! Secrets and lies detonate in this gripping, darkly funny new play, winner of the Ronald Duncan Playwriting Prize 2011. Encore Drama’s performance of Jo’s War lifts the lid on the impact of war on the unseen army of wives, girlfriends and the many other people close to our soldiers.

Groundlings Theatre Company create a version of Romeo and Juliet for a new generation, infused with the music, vivid colour & vibrant designer images of the 1980s. Extravagant parties where the Capulets rubbed padded shoulders with all the wealth of Mayfair, and Montague’s new money was all that was good about being a yuppie in the city which promised so much. Across the divide two star-crossed lovers meet with a simple kiss.
