Coffee Shop

The Coffee shop Is now open 4 Days a week on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday from 10am - 5pm. At the moment we are serving Teas, Coffee's and various cakes, so why not pop in and tell us what you would like on the menu.

Ghost Hunting At the Old Benny

There were rumours floating around that the Old Beneficial School was one of the Most Haunted buildings in Portsmouth, so we decided we would find out for sure if we had visitors from another time. Some of the Staff from Groundlings spent the night at the building on 27^th February with an experienced team of Ghost Hunters called The Paranormal People. We held several séances and called out to any spirits in the building, and were quite surprised when we played back the recording device and heard the soft voice of a child. We also heard tapping noises and some Orbs were photographed.

The Following weekend a group from Dark Encounters held a two night vigil on 5^th & 6^th March, they set up several experiments using trigger objects and Groundlings staff were allowed to use Divining Rods to ask simple yes / no questions. Again Orbs were  photographed and filmed and a séance was held. Like the previous week  we managed to contact several spirits and we hope to have the results available soon. The spirits did however reveal that a picture was stolen but never left the building.
